Currently, I’m working at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, FL as the lab Media Specialist. The work primarily entails web development, flash, and graphics for Michael Davidson. I am currently working on various flash applets demonstrating concepts of optical microscopy. In between different flash challenges, I manage sites for Nikon, Olympus, Zeiss, Florida State University, Hamamatsu, The Optical Society of America, and B & B Microscopes. Sometimes, I will do 3D modeling for scientific articles, interactive tutorials, and educational material on everything from elements of optical microscopy to principles of electricity and magnetism. And when those times of the year roll around, I manage all the images for both Nikon’s Small World and Olympus’ Bioscapes international photomicrography competitions.
