It’s just about time for some Flash applets around here!

Put simply this applet is about light, optics, and image resolution. More specifically it is about the intensity of the Fraunhofer diffraction pattern of a circular aperture (Airy Disks).  Well, I guess more simply it is about how waves multiply.  Enjoy!

EDIT: I’ve been messing around with the applet and it seems to chug along at times.  So I’m going back under the hood to streamline it some more.

“Whole hog” is a wonderful phrase.  It can fit into a plethora of scenarios.  But it is truly a rare and special occasion when one can go whole hog on a whole hug.  This poster plays as the new bacon beacon to the hungry masses yearning for the yearly piggy pilgrimage that is Swinefest!

I have a hard time staying away from those short succulent snippets … quick bits of alliteration.

The way things go for now, I’m doing some old photo clean up. This guy? Yeah, I don’t know him. But, then again, I do. Ooo… The large print-ready versions of each of the gussied up photos is available in the photo section.

The new ADARAI is up and running. What we’ve got on our hands here is a polished up blog style site! I’m still working out some styling kinks, but nothing serious. All the content from the previous version is still here. And soon there will be some new content, most notably being the flash projects I’ve been working on. OK, so there isn’t anything there now. So yeah, there will be some short term growing pains. But that won’t rain on our new site version parade, not one bit!
